With other 9 Fulbright grantees, she had attended the pre-departure oreintation at the U.S embassy in Phnom Penh which was already conducted on June 12, 2008. The departure period will be in the up-comming July.

This is a very proudful achievement of our alumnus also as of a Cambodian student who will become a vital and invaluable asset for developing our country.

Finally, we, as CASA's current students, would like to express heartiest congratulations for her both current and future success.

109th Graduation Ceremony

Thursday, May 22, 2008 is the 109th AIT graduation ceremony. It is a great day for graduated students in AIT especially for our graduated Cambodian students. 12 Cambodian students graduate this time and from difference school and field of study. There are two sections in the ceremony, start from 9:30 for SERD and SOM School and in the afternoon start from 2pm for SET.

Around 11am, there are many graduated students come out from AIT Conference Center and a number of Cambodian students that are not graduated yet waiting their seniors out side to give a bunch of flower and to say congratulation. A bunch of flower is to represent our mind, relationship and family from Cambodia Association Student in AIT to our graduated students.

We are so happy and we take many photos together with difference style and the beautiful view in AIT.
Hope everyone won’t forget today event on which some students have graduated and some are not yet but we hope, we are still in the same AIT’s family and still keep in touch even we are stay far from each other.

Finally, congratulation to our graduated students; wish them successful in their life and bring their knowledge to develop our beloved Cambodia country.

CASA's Cultural Show Performance 2008

This year, like other previous years, AIT's student union has prepared a Cultural Show under "Our Culture, Our Indentity" theme which provides opportunity for all AIT students from diverse countries and cultures to join and perform various performances showing the uniquity of their cultures.

In this event, our Cambodian Student Association has also been taking part in the performance. We have chosen a drama as our performance which describes about our traditional engagement ceremony. This performance has been actively partipated by all Cambodian students in AIT and from some others universities such as Chulalongkorn, and King Mungkut university.

The representative of Cambodian embassy to Thailand has also been invited to join this event. And we would like to express our sincere thanks for his presence.

We are very happy to have shown our cuture to the audiences and very proud that our performance has been well done nicely. This is because of all of us as Cambodian students abroad can help each other to make this happen.

Even though this year performance cannot compete with others, but the value of this lies behind the uniqueness of our culture itself and the strong effort and unity of each members and all cambodian students who have the will to bring our country's culture to the international stage. Thanks to all of you...
